How did we get our start?

Brothers Ryan and Shane Mcgrotty started REP in Longmont, Colorado, in a 1,200-square-foot retail storefront with a two-car garage. They filled it with a few pieces of equipment and stacked bumper plates to the ceiling in the closet. Their shop wasn’t a big, flashy space, but even in the humble garage, the brothers’ goal was to see people’s eyes light up when they walked into the space. They wanted to bring back the art of customer experience. They also wanted to sell high-quality gear they would (and did) buy, use, and love themselves.

REP Gives Back: Police, Fire & Military

Our respect for those who provide our freedom and security is what drove our desire to give back. In 2023, we chose to pledge $100,000 to three great charities that help military and first responder’s families. In this way we can ensure the money we give goes to those with the greatest need, and continues our tradition of honoring those who serve our nation and our community. The three charities that we donated to (and encourage you to check out) are:

REP PR-1050 WITH DIP, FB-3000 Includes: The REP Fitness FB-3000 flat bench. The PR-1050 power rack is matte black powder coated with numbered uprights every 5th hole, 2” hole spacing through the working area, and 2×2” uprights. (1) Dip attachment, (1) pair of plastic lined j-cups, (1) pair of chrome coated safeties, (1) pair of extra bar holders on the front of the safeties, (1) pair of weight horns for the rear base, and (2) pull up bars one measuring 1.25” thick and the other 2” thick.
Ideal for Small Spaces: At 72” tall, the PR-1050 is designed to fit under your ceiling. The rack measures 72”x 48”x 48” but is 58” wide at the rear bottom brace. The working room in the rack is 44” wide and 26” deep inside to inside. It’s a great power rack for a spare bedroom or basement garage gym Do your presses seated, and pull ups bent at the knee. No more excuses to not work out hard and safely inside a power rack!
FB-3000 Strong and Stable Flat Bench: Our flat bench is constructed from 11 gauge steel with a thick plywood base layer (NOT particle board like our competition), dense foam core, and soft top layer for the perfect mix of support and comfort where you need it. The 2.5 inch thick pad is created with our new, grippy cover. At 45 lbs, you can easily move it around your gym or store it out of the way when not in use. The grippy pad wipes clean quickly and easily. Bench Dimensions: 47x12x17.5 inches
Heavy Duty: At a weight capacity of 700 lbs, it can handle more weight than most of us will ever lift – but do it while still feeling solid and safe. Weight storage pegs on the back add to the utility and stability. There is a 400lb capacity on the pull-up bars.
